Zurich, Switzerland – November 20, 2020 – (Clarity Times): Yves Jean-Bart also known as Dadou Jean-Bart, former president of the Haitian Football Association (FHF) and former FIFA standing committee member, is found guilty of sexual harassment and abuse of various female players, including minors.
According to the FIFA’sadjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee, Yves Jean-Bart’s behaviors are in violation of art. 23 (Protection of physical and mental integrity) and art. 25 (Abuse of position) of FIFA’s Code of Ethics. Mr. Jean-Bart is therefore sanctioned with a life ban from all football-related activities (administrative, sports, or any other) at both national and international levels. In addition, Dadou Jean-Bart must pay a fine of one million Swiss Franc (1,000,000).
The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has already notified Mr. Jean-Bart of the November 18, 2020 decision, which comes from an extensive investigation. Along with Dadou Jean-Bart, several other officials within the FHF, were found guilty for being involved as principals, accomplices or instigators in acts of systematic sexual abuse against female football players between 2014 and 2020 according a press release by the FIFA.
